True to its innovative nature and always at the forefront of creating new opportunities, GVA Redilco & Sigest has entered the Italian Built to Rent (BTR) – Multifamily market to be the first mover and become the market leader in the management of purpose-built residential developments on behalf of corporate and institutional landlords.
It’s a unique opportunity to join a brand new and dynamic team being formed to launch an exciting and entirely new business department. This will entail being exposed to a wide variety of activities during the start-up phase with a clear growth potential for the future.
Main Activities
- supporting the underwriting of investments in the BTR-Multifamily and Living sectors, interacting with the capital markets team;
- working closely with our advisory and technical teams during the various phases of a project development;
- analysing the financial performance of a BTR-Multifamily scheme during both lease-up and stabilised phases (including producing and presenting operating profit & loss statements, cash flow projections and mobilization budgets);
- contributing to the development of the BTR-Multifamily department core processes, working with our tech team to design the infrastructure behind them;
- preparing and attending to competitive pitches to expand the projects under management;
- working closely with company partners to integrate the service offering for our main customers (tenants and landlords);
- being involved in the creation of legal and operational standards (e.g. management agreements, lease contracts, JV agreements etc.) to become the sector best practice;
- participating to the key strategic decisions being made in the early stage of this new business line.
Requirements
- at least 1-2 years working experience, preferably in the real estate or financial sectors but not mandatorily;
- fluent in English (both spoken and written), any other language will be considered a plus;
- a degree in Economics, Engineering or a Master in Real Estate from a top-rated University are preferable;
- excellent written and verbal communication skills. You’re comfortable communicating at all levels internally and externally;
- very good working knowledge of Excel, Word and Power Point;
- strong at problem solving with analytical skills and attention to detail;
- a self-starting nature with strong initiative, a confident and strong mindset and excellent time-management skills are essential;
- being data driven (collating, analysing, and presenting data) is key.
