The transformation of Milan’s Lambrate district<\/h1>\n

Lambrate has been undergoing a transformation over many decades. Among the many disused industrial sheds we can find the Cristallo building \u2013 the last vestige of the Innocenti-Maserati car and motorcycle manufacturing industry.<\/p>\n

In May 2022, the \u201cLa Magnifica fabbrica\u201d project was approved. What’s it about? A group of young Spanish architects, led by Pablo Oriol Salgado, have undertaken to convert the building into premises for Teatro La Scala, with new workshops and storerooms, rehearsal rooms, costume departments and a \u201cDream Space\u201d for exhibitions, courses and events.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
