Ca' Brutta is a large residential building from the early 20th century located in via della Moscova, on the corner with piazza Stati Uniti d’America and via Turati. Designed by the architect Giovanni Muzio, it is considered by many to be the architectural manifesto of the "Novecento" artistic movement which, after the Futurist and Cubist experiments, promoted a return to order and purity of form. Muzio designed Ca' Brutta satisfying the need to create environments that make optimal use of both air and light, clearly dividing the opinion of the citizens, who welcomed the project with fierce criticism but also just as much appreciation. The Ca' Brutta is certainly a peculiar building that creates a certain disorientation due to its apparent disorganization. Consisting of two buildings, one in line and the other in a courtyard, it has an arch that unites the two buildings creating a single architectural entity. The two buildings are separated by a private road, to allow more light to the internal apartments. The external façade is characterized by the use of different materials: travertine for the first two floors, cement for the next three and Vicenza stucco with quicklime and marble for the top floor. In this exclusive context we offer exclusively, on the fifth and top floor, a sophisticated three-room apartment, spread over a floor plan of about 190 square meters and rewarded by a double exposure. The rooms are splendidly flooded with natural light, emphasized by the ivory color of the walls, the warm tones of the parquet and the movement of the architectural details. The entrance opens onto the living area, with the double living room, a refined environment perfect for entertaining guests where the large double windows and generous heights stand out, the dining room, a study and a TV room. The view that can be enjoyed from the two balconies and from the windows is enchanting, on the private road that separates the two buildings and on the opposite facade, full of amazing details. The separate eat-in kitchen is fully furnished and equipped, and the master bedroom stands out for the breadth of its dimensions and the capacity of the wardrobes. The two bathrooms with windows are furnished with a large shower cubicle and bathtub. In its uniqueness, this residence is the ideal home for a refined, sophisticated and beauty-loving clientele, a place to find yourself surrounded by style, history and meaning.
