Dils has managed the competitive sales process, on behalf of Generali Real Estate SpA advisor to Europ Assistance Italy, of an office to BC Partners European Real Estate 2 and Kervis Group.
The real estate complex comprising five buildings is located in the Porta Romana area of Milan overlooking Piazza Trento, Via Crema and Via Trebbia, and occupies a total area of over 9,000 sqm.
The building previously housed the Italian headquarters of Europ Assistance, a prime insurance company belonging to the Generali group, which recently moved its offices to Assago Milanofiori.
The investor will carry out an extensive mixed-use office and residential redevelopment.
The deal, which has just been completed, further confirms the attractiveness of the area adjacent to the Scalo di Porta Romana. This area is recording a growing volume of investments, thanks to urban regeneration plans and to new real estate developments involving the entire district.
