Dils acted as advisor in the agreement that led The Valesco Group, the fast-growing London headquartered European real estate fund manager, to finalize the majority controlling investment in one of the flagship buildings in the Symbiosis district of Milan, developed by Covivio. The project is located in the Symbiosis district, near the former Scalo di Porta Romana area, and represents one of the most significant urban regeneration initiatives in the city. The 38,000 sqm property, designed by ACPV Architects (Antonio Citterio Patricia Viel), embodies innovation and sustainability.
This transaction not only stands out as one of the most significant in Milan’s office sector in recent years but also marks Valesco’s first investment in Italy. This milestone underscores Italy’s appeal as a prime destination for high-profile international investments and highlights the tremendous potential of this emerging district. The complex is part of the new Symbiosis Business District, Covivio’s urban regeneration project that is transforming a historically strategic area for Milan’s industrial and economic development into one of the city’s most dynamic zones. This transformation is driven by the presence of universities, museums, and prestigious brands.
With over 130,000 sqm currently involved in innovative urban regeneration projects, the Symbiosis area has already been chosen as the headquarters for major players in luxury fashion, technology, and energy. The area’s appeal is further boosted by the ongoing Scalo di Porta Romana urban transformation project and preparations for the 2026 Winter Olympics with the nearby Olympic Village.
Investments exceeding €1 billion over the past five years confirm the transformative spirit and evolution of this area of Milan as key factors in attracting both domestic and international investors.
