Dils sponsor of the Sustainable Economy Forum 2026

On May 14th, Dils partnered with the eighth edition of the Sustainable Economy Forum 2026, the event promoted by Confindustria and the Fondazione San Patrignano focused on European competitiveness and sustainability, held at the San Patrignano Community in Coriano, near Rimini.

The event brought together institutions, businesses, the scientific community and economic stakeholders to discuss the transformations shaping Europe’s future, from industrial and digital transition to innovation, circular economy, infrastructure, mobility and urban quality.

The forum opened with remarks by Letizia Moratti and Emanuele Orsini, alongside a video message from Roberta Metsola. Institutional speakers also included Gilberto Pichetto Fratin.

Throughout the day, panels featured leading representatives from the industrial, financial and infrastructure sectors, including Giovanni Arcoleo (Acciona), Aurelio Regina (Confindustria), Agostino Scornajenchi (Snam), Mariarosa Baroni (NGV Italy), Leopoldo Destro (Confindustria), Felipe Morgulis (UPS Healthcare Logistics & Distribution) and Francesco Nonno (FTTH Council Europe).

Additional discussions focused on industrial innovation, investment and sustainable finance, with contributions from Augusto Ciarrocchi (Confindustria Ceramica), Fabio Faltoni (Confindustria Dispositivi Medici), Fabio Giambelli (DOW), Marco Nocivelli (Confindustria), Angelo Camilli (Confindustria), Alessandro Carano (European Investment Bank), Luca D’Agnese (CDP Equity), Alessandra Florio (Intesa Sanpaolo) and Carlo Germano Ravina (Nova Capital).

As part of the panel dedicated to urban quality and city regeneration, Giuseppe Amitrano spoke alongside Gabriele Buia (Confindustria), Maurizio Marchesini (Assoclima), Giovanna Ricuperati (Confindustria Bergamo) and Andrea Rustioni (IGP Decaux).

In his speech, Amitrano highlighted how growing international investor interest in Europe — particularly Southern Europe — confirms the attractiveness of cities and territories able to combine quality of life, cultural heritage and strong urban identity. He also underlined the strategic role of urban regeneration in creating long-term economic and social value through an integrated approach connecting living, services and infrastructure, while emphasizing the importance of a responsible, long-term business vision capable of generating lasting positive impact for local communities.

The forum also addressed circular economy topics with contributions from Catia Bastioli (Novamont), Camilla Colucci (Circularity), Simona Fontana (CONAI) and Marco Piccolo (Confindustria).

Dils’ participation in the initiative reflects the company’s ongoing commitment to supporting dialogue and exchange around urban evolution, regeneration and sustainable development.
