On May 27th, at the Chiostri di San Barnaba in Milan, the Annual Dinner of Peso Positivo took place — a fundraising evening in support of the prevention of Nutrition and Eating Disorders (NEDs). Dils was among the partners of the event.
Peso Positivo is a project of the Associazione Famiglia Peppino Fumagalli ETS, active since 2021 in schools, companies and sports organisations across Italy. The numbers speak for themselves: over 3 million people in Italy live with an eating disorder, the age of onset is falling every year, and only 10% of those affected ask for help. A silent emergency, one that strikes above all young people and adolescents.
The evening brought together 120 guests — business leaders, professionals, doctors and philanthropic figures. Between a dinner curated by Michelin-starred chef Claudio Sadler, a charity auction and first-hand testimonies from those who have lived through the illness, the event also marked a symbolic milestone: the official transition from Association to Fondazione Famiglia Peppino Fumagalli.
Supporting Peso Positivo is not a sponsorship. It is a choice of responsibility towards the next generation, towards an issue that can no longer remain invisible. It is a gesture of gratitude, the same gratitude that gave rise to This Is My Milano, the way Dils chooses to stay close to its community.
