Building

Architectural firm 'De Zwarte Hond' designed 'NoordBaak'. The whole is inspired by the tough, adventurous and unpolished character of this historic shipyard. The adjoining boardwalk forms both the architectural and physical end of the development towards the water. Mobility and parking

From 'NoordBaak' you can walk to the ferry in just five minutes. The ferry runs every quarter of an hour between NDSM, Amsterdam Central Station and Pontsteiger/Houthaven. It is a free ferry service for pedestrians, cyclists, moped riders, scooters and for disabled vehicles. With the North/South (metro) line you can reach Amsterdam Central Station within five minutes and the Zuidas and RAI Amsterdam within 15 minutes. The A10 ring road connects you with many highways. Schiphol Airport is only 20 minutes away from the NDSM shipyard and is also easily accessible by public transport. Parking is possible in the public parking garage behind the 'BinnenDok' building. 'NoordBaak' has a collective and lockable bicycle storage facility.
