Dils was a sponsor of “A Night of Stars for PUPI,” a major charity event that brought together entertainment, sport, music and solidarity to celebrate the 25th anniversary of the P.U.P.I. Foundation, founded by Javier Zanetti and Paula De La Fuente to support vulnerable children and communities.
The event was part of the Naples European Capital of Sport 2026 and City of Music programmes, highlighting the role of sport as a powerful tool for inclusion, personal development and social change.
“A Night of Stars for PUPI” brought a true taste of Argentina to Naples, celebrating the passion, warmth and deep connection between the two cultures. At the heart of the initiative was a shared vision between the City of Naples and the P.U.P.I. Foundation, a Third Sector philanthropic organisation. The event also marked an important milestone for Argentina: 40 years since the country’s 1986 World Cup victory.
Piazza del Plebiscito provided the spectacular backdrop for the charity show, which featured international guests and some of the biggest names in entertainment, including LDA, Aka 7even, Max Pezzali, Elisa, Lola Ponce, Gli Autogol and Fabrizio Romano, alongside football legends with strong ties to Naples and Argentina, including Ezequiel Lavezzi. During the evening, Max Pezzali and Elisa also treated the audience to a special performance.
One of the evening’s most moving moments was a tribute to Diego Armando Maradona, narrated by Federico Buffa, celebrating the enduring bond between the Argentine football legend and the city of Naples.
The evening also turned the spotlight on the America’s Cup, the oldest international competition in the history of sport, which was set to make Naples a key destination in 2027, further strengthening the city’s international profile.
Giving back was at the heart of the entire initiative: part of the ticket proceeds was allocated to projects and organisations working across the Municipality of Naples, selected to ensure a broad presence throughout the city, with a particular focus on initiatives supporting social inclusion, wellbeing, and the rights of children and young people, including through sport.
For the first time, a Dils Give Back initiative, already well established in Milan through This is My Milano, came to Naples, further strengthening the company’s commitment to supporting local communities through initiatives focused on education, sport, social inclusion, culture and the arts.
Dils’ involvement in the event also marked a further step in the company’s growing connection with the city of Naples, ahead of the opening of its new Naples office.
