For the second consecutive year, Dils is supporting Fondazione IBVA's housing-related projects, contributing to the "Clima Solidale" project: an air conditioning installation across the 9 apartments of the Abitare Solidale service, as well as in its common areas and children's spaces. The initiative directly benefits 30 people in care, including several minors and people with disabilities.
Fondazione IBVA is based on Via Santa Croce in Milan, in a building designed by architect Luigi Caccia Dominioni, and has spent years working on housing support and inclusion for people and families facing vulnerable circumstances.
Among its services, Abitare Solidale is a temporary housing model for families experiencing severe economic and social hardship: it offers not just a roof over their heads, but a path back toward full autonomy and stability.
The Clima Solidale project was born to address a concrete need: the heatwaves of recent years, which made everyday activities like sleeping, studying, or caring for children difficult for the families in care. Thanks to the new air conditioning, living spaces are now more welcoming, and families enjoy more comfortable homes.
Dils' support for Fondazione IBVA is not an isolated gesture — it confirms a strong partnership, built on shared values and a commitment to working together on lasting solutions for the most vulnerable people.
Matteo Ripamonti, Director of Fondazione IBVA, said: "Dils' contribution was a sign of trust that allowed us to complete an even broader intervention than originally planned. A crucial initiative, since the apartments in question are on the top floor of our building, in an area exposed to the sun and particularly hot in summer. The project didn't simply fund an air conditioning system — it helped make home a more comfortable, welcoming, and livable place for dozens of families facing a moment of particular vulnerability."
Beyond Abitare Solidale, Fondazione IBVA also runs Solidando, social markets where families in need can shop for free with dignity, and Panificando, the social bakery that donates fresh bread to those in need. The Foundation also promotes cultural initiatives open to the city, such as "Le Parole del Pane Festival," alongside training programs and efforts to combat school dropout rates.
This support for Fondazione IBVA is part of Dils' broader commitment to corporate social responsibility, carried out through its Give Back program "This is my Milano," which promotes concrete initiatives for communities and the local area.
