GVA Redilco acted as advisor to Covivio SA in the sale process for a trophy asset in Via Cernaia 8-10 in Milan, located between the Brera and Porta Nuova districts.
The asset, of 8,300 sqm, was awarded LEED Platinum certification thanks to a complete refurbishment which was carried out in 2017, emphasizing the building’s unique features, architectural prestige and functional efficiency.
The building is the Italian headquarters of a prime international asset management company.
The property has been secured by BNP Paribas REIM Italy SGR following a competitive sale process involving the main institutional investors active on the domestic and international real estate markets.
The quality of the asset together with its location and the high standing of the tenant were the key drivers which determined the success of this deal, confirming the confidence of the main core investors active in the Italian real estate market in the office asset class.
