GVA Redilco has acted as advisor to the vendor Savills Investment Management SGR SpA acting in its capacity as management company of the closed-end real estate alternative investment fund named “Milan Green Fund”, in the sale to BNP Paribas REIM Italy SGR of an office building in Via Mazzini 9/11, a central street in Milan connecting Piazza del Duomo with Piazza Missori.
The stand-alone asset has a total area of about 11,000 sqm arranged over 10 floors.
The building, dating back to the mid-1930s, recently underwent a total refurbishment, enhancing it whilst respecting the building’s historical and architectural value.
The renovation project focused on the building’s interiors and floor efficiency, with the aim of optimizing the spaces. The creation of a central urban garden onto which the offices on all floors overlook, complete the building’s characteristic uniqueness, prestige and functionality.
The asset, historically the headquarters of the Banca Agricola Milanese (later the Banca Popolare di Milano), is fully leased to an international single tenant.
