Dils participated, for the first time in its history, in one of Milan’s most important sports events, the Milano Marathon, known as the “fastest marathon in Italy” and one of the most participated with over 25,000 runners.
Along a 42km route, which wound through the city’s most iconic locations – including the Duomo, Teatro alla Scala, Castello Sforzesco, City Life district, and the Arco della Pace – Dils teams took turns for the Charity Relay.
The solidarity relay, an integral part of the Milano Marathon, is an initiative of fundraising that involves over 90 non-profit organizations and thousands of runners every year: since 2012, the year of its first edition, nearly €3,5 MLN have been raised.
Dils had the pleasure of running for “C’è Da Fare ETS,” the non-profit organization born from an idea by Paolo Kessisoglu with the aim of integrating national health service through projects of psychological and neuropsychiatric support for teens.
The initiative is part of the project “This is my Milano” Dils’ Give Back activity, which in the last 12 months has allocated more than €1 MLN to over 30 associations and non-profit organizations operating in Milan neighborhoods for community support.
