Here you can walk through the big tree-lined avenues, admiring the beauties of the facades with a Liberty style, discovering many historical places, like the Savoia Boot Shop, which was founded in 1870 and produces custom-made artisan shoes, and the Santa Teresa Pharmacy, with its flower motif decor.

After going shopping in the numerous boutiques which offer refined and noble items, you can stop by at the big monumental parks; if you want to have a cocktail or a dinner, there are many places which offer elegant and trendy atmospheres.
Enjoy a break at the frequented Bar Bianco, which is situated inside the spectacular Parco Sempione.

This area is not meant for those who love modern residences with an international style and prefer big malls and supermarkets with driveway.

It can’t be appreciated by those who want to live in a multi-ethnic dimension and search for alternative and creative spaces with a hipster soul.

The area offers mainly residential buildings with very elegant apartment buildings of the XX century, which are supervised by janitors and overlook large umbriferous tree-lined avenues.

As well as the interiors, facades are well-kept and often present wrought irons and artistic concretes (in the Casa Binda of Conciliazione Square 1 the historical elevator of the XX century is still working).

In this area you will love the private Liberty courtyards, which can be seen from the front doors and will amaze you with their richness and elegance.

You will be amazed by visiting the little Chiostrino delle Rane of Santa Maria delle Grazie church, admiring the flower motives on the building’s facades, as well as on the refined wrought irons which can be seen near the area of Ariosto street.

Enjoy the blooming of magnolias in Tommaseo Square and the numerous scupltures made by artists like De Chirico, Arman and Mo, which are scattered in the greenery.
In the Biblioteca civica, which is situated inside Parco Sempione, there are art works made by Munari and Somaini; moreover, do not miss the optical telescope which lines up Corso Sempione, the Arco della Pace, the Castle, passing through the Burri’s Teatro Continuo.

The area is close to Leonardo’s places (like the Vigna di Leonardo) and to high-quality historical complexes, like the Palazzo delle Stelline.
Not too far from it you can find the Brera district with its Pinacoteca, the Orto Botanico, the Osservatorio Astronomico and the Academia delle Belle Arti.
You can easily reach by walking the San Simpliciano Church, Corso Garibaldi and via Paolo Sarpi. Moreover, you can easily reach the new CityLife district by public transportation.
